AGON – Acustica Informatica Musica presents a call for scores/performances open to composers and sound artists of all ages and nationalities, for the electroacoustic ensemble-in-residence Sistema Ensemble.
This call aims to foster the development of a repertoire for live electronics within a chamber formation dedicated to electronic music and multimedia performance in all its forms and expressions.
Particular attention will be given to proposals engaging with the following themes:
- the use of the laptop as the primary tool for sound production and manipulation
- the use of space (acoustic and electroacoustic)
- interaction paradigms in live electronic music
- the design of digital, analog or hybrid instruments;
- human-machine interaction, the relationship between gesture and sound (possibly including video);
- network performance;
- musical notation for laptop ensembles.
